Best hosting service provider

I'm searching for a reliable hosting service provider and costing should not be high! Can you please tell me what are the key factors I need to consider before going for the best one.....you know at present there are so many and no one will say they're bad! In such situation it's really difficult for me to select the good one.

I know a ton of people on here suggest hostgator.com.

Outside of reliability, years in business, etc, you need to make sure the host has what you need to develop your sites. If you need templates, make sure they have what you want, if you need certain software for applications you use, make sure they have it, etc.

You can find many threads on this topic. But I only recommend Hostgator. Great support, easy to use, and dont try to upsell you every time you log-in like many other services.

Hostgator has been most reliable. Besides not having had any problems with them, customer service has been great.

    My recommendation is also Hostgator.

I switched to them just over a year ago after having a series of problems with the previous hosting company.

Not only did Hostgator handle the transfer of my account to their servers, it went without a hitch and I was up and running again very quickly.

There have been a few occasions when I have had minor problems, which customer service sorted for me (one of them was my fault!)

When I had problems with the previous company, I had to wait 72 hours from submitting a support ticket before they would even respond!

Interesting that no one has mentioned Bluehost. Is it because they don't do multiple accounts maybe? I'm looking to switch to Bluehost but have heard one report of slowly loading pages. Hard to believe that one bad note over all the recommendations here on the forum though.

How easy is it to sell a site hosted at Hostgator?

If HostGator is too high of a price for you then check out BlueHost or WebHostingHub.

I use Bluehost. Never had a problem. Don't know what their support is like to be honest as I've never had to use it and I can't comment on other hosting services but Bluehost is good for me.

Hostgator has the best price. I like Media Temple, but it costs a bit more (like $20 a month).

iPage costs about $50 per years so it's cheaper and similar to hostgator. You can try it.

I have been with Hostgator from the start. I would never consider anyone else for hosting services. Their service is 'Primo'. If you really look around they do have the most features, you will never outgrow their packages and I have a very good feeling 75% of the companies offering low cost hosting are reselling HG. Go to the source.

I have been using hostgator for years but in the last 6 months or so I noticed that all of my websites started running incredibly slow. I talked to support and they told me that the shared server I was on had its Apache web services being attacked by a hacker so they moved me to another server. Then that one started to get slower and slower and they moved me to another one again.

It is my opinion that hostgator is growing too fast and are out-growing their data centers & perhaps cannot keep up with the demand so their servers that provide shared hosting are being pushed to their max which causes slowness. Thus the moving around to new servers. I therefore now recommend Blue Host or Dream Host.

If you want dirt cheap hosting and month to month payments I would go with GoDaddy. Their control panel sucks (compared to Cpanel) but their support is top-notch and you can get basic hosting for like $3 a month with a coupon. Here are some GoDaddy coupons that are updated daily: GoDaddy Promo Codes - GoDaddy Coupons, Coupon Codes, and discount codes

I use Hostgator, Started off with the Hatchling plan, Moved a site off Homestead to Hostgator due to lack of support.

Contacted Hostgator support for an upgrade. less than one hour, was upgraded to the Baby Plan. So far no complaints. Did not care for GoDaddy, they try and sell you everything.

i use Hostgator and always impressed with the speed of their customer support (when needed which is rare).

They are online chat 24/7 and usually the wait is less than 5 mins and your problem is solved within a total of 10mins (they always have a good team of reps online at one time)

I would like to tell about the best Hosting provider then i want tell some factor which are essential during choosing your web hosting provider. Generally there is a common problem of server down and this is the major problem you face then you should ask about it first and then there is more problem of slow speed then you should talk about the same then you should choose your hosting provider.

The key factors to be considered here are the server uptime and the web hosting control panel. You have to look out for a good server uptime to enable faster loading on your website. Get to know the efficiency of your web hosting panel. You need to have a control panel that is very efficient.

Is Hostgator easy to build sites with? I know a lot of people recommend them for hosting, but as far as building your actual website with them..how easy is that to do?

..I have a hostgator account, just haven't built a site with them yet..I have an outsourcer that goes into my account and builds my sites for me..so I was just wondering before I tried to do it myself.

I know they have templates and all that, but it seems like you have to download and install them or something. I'm a copy and paste type of person lol

Hostgator is alright for shared hosting, but if you want vps you should look at linode. They are the best for quality and price ive found so far.

They have supper fast and actually helpful support, an awesome whole daily whole server backup system that lots ov vps's dont have, are very reliable....
