Client site review/report software

Hello Fellow Warriors,

Does anyone know of any software that I can use to review prospect clients sites and make a report that I can send them. I want to send the report to them free, with suggestions on how to improve the site and rankings. I would like the information gathering to be automated so I can quickly make the reports.

Regards,

Mark

P1 is giving you good advice. I just want to throw in what I've done in the past.

I simply use Camtasia and narrate a video where I put their site into Market Samurai and explain each of the factors affecting their Google ranking.

For example, I'll show them their competition using the search engine competition module of Market Samurai.

Next, I show them what needs to be done to get them on the first page of Google.

I explain how I can immediately fix their on-page SEO factors and then I explain (in layman's terms) their off-page SEO problems. I tell them that these factors will take more time and effort to improve.

However, when they hire me, I continue to make these videos, showing them how I fixed everything and how their off-page SEO is improving.

I had a customer that didn't see anything happening with his site even though he was paying me for work. By making the video and showing him how many more links he was getting and how it was improving his climb up Google, I alleviated his concerns.

Once his site was on page 1, he was thrilled, and continues to pay me to get him on page 1 for other search terms.

Thanks for the advice, I've already have market samurai and hadn't thought to make a video to send out. I'll give that a try.

The only problem is the client doesn't really care about numbers, ranking, reports, etc if their phone isn't ringing. They feel like you are manipulating them with all this "tech speak."

Sure, you got them to page one, but there phone isn't ringing more.

You better have Google Analytics installed, so you can check bounce rates, traffic, etc. Even if you got them #1, and they are getting more traffic, it may not be converting.

I pick up most of my SEO clients from prospects that already had an "SEO guy" but their phone wasn't ringing more. How? I sell rankings, traffic, AND conversions.

Use Google Analytics for reporting. Clients know the name "Google" more than IBM or any of the other software. Credibility.

For prospecting, like the other posts said, you have to narrate a video explaining what is going on. Prospects will never read your report, and if they do, they won't understand it.

For a down and dirty report Woorank will do a nice job as a before shot on a site status. However as Jason accurately states what business owners want are leads. All the SEO in the world on a POS site will still not help. And really most all of them are in fact that!

I really like the video idea of Zach's. It's a great way to get the information across.
