I made my first cold call today, and got an appointment! It was for SMS marketing. In this case appointment reminders. I thought I would start by phoning dentists.
It was more of a warm call as I am working with a business coach to get this business going, and it was her dentist. But hey, I'll take it.
And now to prepare for the demonstration - next Thursday.

I used a list website to get my spread sheet of contacts. Dexx posted it in one of his posts. Thanks Dexx, its fantastic. Mailing List - Email, Business, Sales Leads, Consumer - InfoUSA They have Canadian lists as well.

I am pretty excited and able to get this thing off the ground. Oh yeah, I already have a doctor signed on. He is an aquantince and I asked him if he was interested. He didn't even want the demonstration.
