You need to be more careful not to reveal your name to my customers. It makes us look foolish after we invested in having the Trumpia software.

@Victoria, can you give us some for information on your problems. I would like to know what to espect in moving to white lablel and I am sure others would like to know more as well.

My main issues are an error message through our Whitelabel system had Trumpia's name in it which may lose us a customer we worked hard to earn. We offer more services but still.. there's a few other things regarding hidden costs I am not happy about as well. Some things were not mentioned up-front.. like the extra cost of using their email servers after they sell the white label as "all inclusive".

I can understand your concerns. I just started with Trumpia not long ago. I want to get the white label but I need some clients 1st before I drop the amount needed for that. Sorry to hear you might lose a client, that is not good at all. Any idea on how and why they error occurred? Has it been just once or many times?

So far I like them, but I did not know about the email part, I was told it was included. Good thing I have not switched to white label yet. Is there a way you can add your email server from your domain? So you can just use yours and not pay the extra?

One thing I found out that I did not like is that to send a auto respond msg at time of opt in. You get charged for 2 text messages and not one. Not sure if its the same in white label. But the opt in person, I tested it myself. Gets one msg saying thanks for joining, you will get blah messages a month, and you can opt out at any time. Then your auto respond msg goes out. So boom 2 text per opt in. I had to change my pricing just because of that. BLAH! But I am still working on a pricing model(cant seem to get one I really like yet) so I guess that is the up side to it.

Yeah be sure to ask about the email ACTUAL cost (They told us $150 a month plus credit cost) as well as about the monthly fees they impose on you at $4 per keyword rate (minimum of 10 I believe) if you use them or not you pay monthly for those keywords. So "No Monthly Fees" my foot.

That is different from what I was told. I was told keywords would be $2.00 a keyword a month and I can buy them as I need them as well as delete them if I do not need them.

Though you seem to be the most feature rich, I think your cost to get in and pricing are way too high. No offense Tim that's just my opinion. But it seems to be working for you. I'm sure the fees are because you want to reward your sales associates well. That is commendable if that's the purpose. I'm all for people getting paid.

I have a question about fundamental mobile practices at Trumpia vs others such as Avid, Lime, etc..

It seems the majority of other providers do not deduct my message credits allotted to my clients until they are actually used.

Trumpia's practice is to remove them from my allotment as soon as someone goes on a plan. They move the entire amount from my allotment to the my client. Since most do not use all of their credits in a given month I lose this overflow benefit. It forces me to buy more credits much sooner than i would have to with other providers.

In theory, I could buy 100000 credits and sell 100 thousand minute plans in one month. I would be forced to buy another 100000 the next month to fund their plans even thought not one text was ever used?

If I made this confusing let me know.

I was looking into Trumpia today. I was avoiding it because of what I heard were the high costs.

But, I saw this "www.trumpia.com No Setup & Monthly Fee, No Contract" in their adwords ad so I was looking closer.

Now, I don't believe I will do business with a company that misrepresents themselves like this.

With all due respect I encourage you to talk with them directly as they may have some special programs that include no setup and not to make make a blanket judgement based on an adwords campaign. I'm finding there is no perfect platform and each of us have to set their own selection criteria.

What I am seeing are specials with a monthly recurring fee with 10,000 texts included plus 100 keywords. They reserve the right I'm sure to change up their specials and it may have been a one time but doesn't hurt to ask.

I would encourage anyone evaluating these platforms to pencil it out on a spreadsheet factoring in monthly platform costs, keywords, emails, etc. Sometimes that great deal only pencils out if you do not grow beyond 25 clients. Don't forget the intangibles such support, stability of company, and commitment to improving their platform.

No setup for Trumpia? Then what do you call the upfront cost of $2,700?
$500 for the white label and 100,000 credits at 0.022 cents. To me that is a setup fee, since you have purchase that to get in to the white label with Trumpia.
