Don't e-mail blast or send the same message to every business. Make personalized e-mails written just for that business. Don't try to sell in your first message.

In my experience, I have not ever once gotten a client through e-mails. But what I stated above helped me get responses.

How long is a piece of string?

Dismiss this very short reply and you'll learn nothing from it.

What do you think I'm trying to say to you?

Let's make you work for this...

What do you think is wrong with your question?

True a lot of emails that are sent are most likely to get lost in the inbox somewhere and 500 you probably would be lucky if you got just 1. like allergity said, if you must make an email make it personalized just for that business.

What works well for met o get clients is i cold call, i was nervous and scared at first but after you get a couple No's then it wont be nothing. getting at least a couple clients would be worth it.

Though ROI on Emails have fallen upto a great level still holds a very critical aspects for a successful marketing campaign. Also there is one more importance point to be noticed that Email and Other internet medium have been contributing to a larger fraction than the traditional medium. One of the most significant feature of these medium is REACH. It serves the mass in a click, reduces time, cheaper in comparison and most importantly preferred by upcoming tech savvy customers.

A study done by Epsilon for the last quarter of last year said that email conversion rates had gone up to 2.9 % which was the highest in the last two years.

    Click rates were 5.9 %to 5.1 % in the last 12 months.
