As part of my plan to rule the insurance world I've devised this evil scheme to uncover my competition's weakness. These facts and figures are a matter of public information so.... I thought that if I threw a headline on there that was an eyegrabber....


I actually have a "real" writer working on the copy...this is just a test

      1. I love it: value to customer. people want to know this. A win/win marketing angle.

      2. My brother loves it : anything to save money and/or not have the insurance industry take advantage.

  • I think it's AWESOME. I'm not sure how who you're sending it to and how you're sending it. However...

    The way to make it even awesome-er would be to send them an official looking postcard on pastel stock (yellow or green) printed in courier font (looks like typewriter). Click2mail will come out to less than 40 cents a piece for you. Do away with the pitch about options etc. Get them scared and then get them to call you. You're not selling "you" or the "product". You should only be selling a phone call. "If you don't want to participate in this increase, please contact our office immediately at (000) 000-0000". When they call, you can answer the phone or drive them to a recorded message with hard-hitting pitch and let them "press 1 at any time to speak with one of our consultants".

    I feel this should be a slam dunk for you. But hey, it's marketing, and I've been wrong before (just ask my wife LOL).
  • Hey, thanks for the feedback. Kind of "ballsy" for insurance type ads but I've never been afraid to stick my neck out a bit with my marketing. Hope it goes well

    • It's still not a ballsy as one insurance guy in Australia attaching condoms to the sales letter he was mailing to his prospects because he's selling "protection" LOL
