First Major Client for Offline Marketing

Hello Fellow Warriors,

I just gotten an email from a rather big client(Loans Niche) who wishes to engage in SEO services. Apparently, he had used SEO before, but after doing some research, it is more like SEM, ie Adwords.

According to him, they have been spending alot of money on adwords with very low returns and wishes to engage in 'Organic SEO' services. What worries me is that he might have gotten a misconception, thinking that SEO is the cheaper alternative to Adwords campaigns. Since he had such a bad experience with SEM, it seems kinda hard to convince him.

After exchanging a couple of emails, we have decided to schedule a meeting on Thursday. Since it is going to be a rather short one, our main presentation outline would be

1) a report detailing keywords and their ranking,
2) Google Places listing,
3) Mobile Site,
4) SMM (Twitter and Facebook),

The main question would be, do I include the pricing into the presentation, or should I include just a rough guide to the pricing and finalise it after the initial meeting?

Thanks in advance!!
Cheers
Ky

Show him what you are offering, know how much you will be charging for each service, let him pick what he thinks he wants, and add that up, and go to finalize it right there if you can.

Remember that he has already done all this work on adwords so do not through out the baby with the bathwater.

What most people don't understand with adwords is that they are more a research tool than just an add campaign.

So if you can get access to their adwords then you can offer to build content and organic links around them at least that's what we do
