If you create fanpages for offline businesses...

Hey guys,

This is a question about making fanpages for offline businesses.

As you know, we are to create Facebook apps, right.

Have you guys ever gotten this stuff? (the picture attached)

"Also note that maintaining multiple accounts, even if they are authentic, is also prohibited."

-Seriously, my Facebook profile is all verified. With an SMS.

SRR 4.1 says: You must not incentivize users to use (or gate content behind the use of) Facebook social channels, or imply that an incentive is directly tied to the use of our channels.

-Now this is a bit confusing to me. I don't incentivize users!

I can't believe this is happening!

Our fanpage businesses are in trouble. Lol.

If they are your clients do you not link all your fanpages to one account? I know they are sticky about having multiple accounts. I would get your offline clients agree (part of the business agreement) to allow you to use their personal or business name to create the Fanpage. This way you are covered with Facebook. I assume FB tracked your multiple account creation by IP Addresses. You might want to create your Fanpages using a proxy service. My first suggestion would be better overall.

I believe you are confused about "Personal" accounts and "Fan Pages". You can have 1 personal account. You can control multiple Fan Pages.

Why else would there be an "Add Admin" button?

the offline business is likely to have a Facebook user amongst them (owner) that you could attach the Page (fanpage) to them you will need the admin access. I would prefer that they have the fanpage on their account so that they take responsibility for it.

That has nothing to do with the Fan pages. An account owner can create someone external to maintain the page as an admin.

Not to mention - if you are setting up external sites with the Iframe, you don't need to really do anything on Facebook itself. You can maintain all the information off site.

I don't create multiple Facebook accounts for my clients. Must be the shared IP or something. AahhHhgggghhh! =|

I did create some, I think. But that's just less than 5.

I am not confusing fanpages and personal account. It's just that I don't know why I can no longer create apps! I need iFrame apps........
