"Dollar Store" money-maker

Someone mentioned the "Dollar Store" in a thread and brought to mind a way to make some "easy money" from Dollar Stores;

Here tis;

Buy 10 BALLOONS (8 Happy B'Day, 1 Smiley Face, 1 Congratulations)

Bring Balloons to a local, independent BAKERY (Not a Franchise and not in a grocery) Tell owner you think some of their customers ordering B'Day Cakes or other cakes might want a Balloon or 2 to go along with the cake.

Tell owner...you will leave the 10 balloons "On Consignment"...tethered to a weight (provided by Dollar Store)

Tell owner price is $3.99 per balloon.....they keep 99cents on each balloon and they give you $3. Your cost is $1 per balloon...so...you make $2 per balloon.

If Bakery owner balks....take your balloons and go to another bakery. YOU are providing an "extra Service" for their Cake customers.

When you have a rapport going with a bakery....make up some Balloon Bouquets".....1 B'day and 4 plain colors for total of 5 for $20. Now, sales begin to get "interesting".

Then...after you see you CAN make some "serious" money providing Balloons to Bakeries....rent or buy a Helium Tank and buy balloons in bulk. Brings your cost down to 25cents each.

One guy works with 8 Bakeries and pulls in a nice $300 a Day.
