What Freebie to offer an Offline Seo Client?

So I'm starting to work with an agency as a consultant to provide SEO services.
We have one client that is super interested and has a big budget that could come our way. My company wants to tailor some type of freebie offer where we rank this client's website free for one keyword just to show what we can do (even though we do have other case studies that already proves we know what we're doing.)

Do you think that's a good way to show the client what we can do for them? Is there any other type of freebie we can offer that would show them results immediately. We don't want to do the usual free website evaluation or keyword stuff.

I'm inclined to pick a low fruit long tailed keyword that wouldn't really require a lot of back links to rank. But I don't know if you guys have any other better suggestions.

Your advice is appreciated. Thanks!

    I landed a big client by ranking them on the first page for their local search term while we were on the phone talking (less than 30 minutes).

    This got them excited and showed them I was the real deal....

    If you can do this, then go for it.

    Or you can create a free 30 sec video and get it on Youtube which will show up on the first page in about 1-4 days as long as you choose local search terms that have low competition.

    I'm assuming you picked a very easy long tailed local phrase.

    I like the youtube video idea. They do tend to rank very easily. I wonder if anyone offers any WSOs to create youtube videos. I'll have to check it out.

      Your welcome and pretty easy.

      Just choose a low comp local search term and use a high authority site like backpage, craigslist or similar to get it on the first page fast.

      This is what I teach and do with my lease sites and my main service I offer my offline clients.

              It funny because you can tweak this method for so many strategies.

              I only recently started buying WSO's again just so I can see what others I teaching (market research)

              And I feel I could have split mine into like 3-4 parts and sold them separate...lol

              Because the ad sites are one part, the local keyword research is another, the videos marketing is a whole other part...etc.

              But I wanted to over deliver the RockStar way ;-)

      Yes that's the first line of defense. Fortunately I do have a lot of case studies for first page rankings. But I think it's even more powerful to be able to whip up some quick results that are geared towards the client to really prove the point that we didn't only just do this in the past we can still do it right now for you as demonstrated by x page that we just happen to rank for you prior to this meeting.

      That can really wow a potential client. I know it would in mind especially when you couple it with other case studies. Know what I mean?
