Need Advice on Any Sales Person Materials for Offlining

I'd love to get any feed back on any offline material that is useful for sales people and offlining.

I've been offlining for a few years now. So I make some decent money but nothing to write home about. My problem is, all the clients I have I've almost stumbled upon because I hate sales. It's not that I think I'd be no good at it, I just don't enjoy it and life is too short to do things I hate doing. So I'm in the process of hiring a sales person and I need to give her something she can use to know how to find and close clients.

So of course I come here to find all the great WSO people are selling so I can help her do her job. So I've bought almost all of the latest and greatest (sometimes not so greatest) WSO over the past couple of weeks.

I was going to give you a review of all of them here but then found out there's no place to do reviews of WSO except in the those individual threads themselves. So you'd have to go read my thread to see my reviews. Hopefully this post is acceptable because I'd really like to hear some feedback and suggestions.

The one thing I'll say upfront that I think all of the WSO are lacking are sales person versions of their products so I can hand something to them without all the extra stuff. I don't want my sales people to know how much it costs me or how long it takes me to do something. I don't want them to know all of the techniques when it comes to creating products. I just want them to know enough to get and close the clients. So they have to understand what we are offering, where to find leads, how to present and close to those leads. I wish the products had that kind of edited sales person version that would also give permission for me to give that aspect of their product to sales people working for my company.

We're also working on a sales manual, so it would be awesome if the WSO included some type of Internal PLR. Meaning that you could reuse and re-brand this information within your own company but not outside of your company. No one does it but I'm posting it here to plant the seed so they can start. I'd start buying up that stuff like hotcakes!

Of course we can just take notes from it and train them in person or we could rewrite all of the stuff we plan on using for our sales team but that's a lot of work to start from scratch. For a few bucks, I'd much rather pay the warrior provider to make a few changes and include that in the offer so we can't refuse.

Anyway, if you know of anything (WSO or otherwise) that might be helpful to my business at this time as far as prospecting and closing, I'd love to hear about it.

    Have you considered putting together a Power Point presentation your sales people can show potential clients using their laptops?

    Also, Joshua Hayes has a program titled Recruiting a Sales Force. Take a look for it in the WSO section. I don't know if it's still being offered. If not, contact him directly and maybe he'll be able to help.

    He has lots of sales collateral and even training videos for your reps. And yes, he leaves out all of the stuff you described.

    if you need to give them something so they know how to close a sale you are best of finding a salesperson not a person who wants to be a salesperson / life is to short with a wannabe.

    again all on the wrong train, yes they will need to know what your product is, who your market is aimed at, your usp and other related information to assist with the sale, but if you then need to teach them where to find the sales, how to pitch and close the sale then your in for some long and hard yards, givin it's not a cat you swing yourself, better hiring people who know what they are doing or having a pro train them, otherwise you can spend a long time with the blind leading the blind.

    you do not need some plr training manual, develop this based on your own results and outcomes to continually put it into a state of improvement, a plr training manual would be close to a paper bag to hold water in effectiveness and would result in B grade results, a pro outfit would walk all over you in days.

    Take notes = yes as above but you would need a pro trainer or sales person with experience as you mentioned you have no flair for it.

    Yes just find people who already know what they are doing in sales, give them your product information and any other marketing material you have, ensure your product has a good usp related to it and that you have a very generous reward / pay structure in place for the top guns to do their thing with, then stand aside and offer support where needed and you should then be able to structure the appointments pitch and close and refine that in house as you go.

    The worst thing I often see is some knob jock who has no idea about sales interfere with those that know who to do what needs to be done, so try and avoid that and pay and reward well for effort and you should get some guns firing bullets for your company.
