How to rank a local site top #10 within 2 month?

Hello their,

I don't know is it actually possible? Someone offer me to rank his site on top of SERP of both Google and yahoo for 5 keywords. Actuly, he want to top for his local google and yahoo.

I have research keyword by Google for that keywords, their i have seen for all individual keywords exact search volume not more then 1500 monthly. And that keywords don't have much commercial indent. Competition is pretty low but some international high PR site like ask.com/Wikipedia.com come along with when search any keywords.

Now, my question is where to start? What will be my strategy to pull him top?

    Do some spying on your competition which are on the first page of the search engines especially Google, that's where the most traffic is.

    Use the free version of SEO Quake, it's a toolbar for your browser, and it will show you how many backlinks your competition has, which PR, Age of the site, SemRush, how many pages indexed and more.

    If the competition has a ton of backlinks it will be harder to outrank your site .

    I have analyze a little about competitor! In first 3 page PR average 3 ! Oh! The site is made by Joomla, creepy CMS for SEO!

    I am confused.. are you asking about organic searches or local searches? because if it is organic searches and the competition level is not bad you can definitely achieve this in 2 months or less.. local SEO is a different story, it takes longer to rank and it's hard to put a time frame on how long it would take
