Why do you think this qr code is not working?

OFFLINE MARKETING

I am wondering why this qr code is not working.

It's made with a qr code generator and then personalized.

But I think it should work in this instance...why do you think it does not work?

Probably your small squares inside the three outside squares are not dark enough. You should be testing your QR code at each design phase to ensure its working as you make progress through the design phase.

Its the bottom Left Hand square not dark enough contrast in the background

  This is correct, you need to have a good contrast in the background and the yellow isn't a dark enough contrast for some readers.
  
  A quick note on how QR Codes work: Your reader will look for the 3 squares to know that it is a QR Code and then align it. So if the square isn't dark enough some readers won't even be able to tell it is a QR Code.

I think it's an issue with the specific reader you're using. On my Evo 4g I tried to scan it with four different reader apps. I-nigma and mobiletag read it without hesitation. Barcode Scanner struggled for a few seconds then read it. QR Droid wouldn't read it.

Of course you need to be able to read it with whatever may be installed on any phone ... sorry, not sure why QR Droid couldn't read it.

I know I'm not addressing your question exactly but hope this is good info anyway.
