What Services Do You Offer to Your Customers and How Much Do You Charge for Them

Hi Warriors,

I am trying to put together a proposal for my first potential offline customer.

Here are the services that I was thinking to offer:

Keyword Research for SEO and Local Listings - $50
SEO friendly Local Listing Profile Update - $100
SEO Website Optimization - $100
20 Articles Distributed Throughout Internet - $150
50 Manual Forum Profiles - $50
3 Videos - $100
100 Social Bookmakrs - $50

Do you have any feedback about the price?

What services do you offer to your clients and how much do you charge?

    Hey there,

Where are you from? Those prices are crazy low for my market just FYI. I mainly stay in the social media marketing realm myself, but SEO alone should start somewhere upwards of $250 if you are really doing a comprehensive job...I assume you are talking just their on site stuff.

I would think San Jose businesses would have similar marketing budgets to folks here on the East Coast...they are used to paying Thousands per month for paper advertising...the best way to tell is to lock in 5 or so clients in a row and take note of their price resistance (or lack thereof) and slowly ratchet up pricing until you start getting more resistance. For instance, all my pricing is based on monthly retainers, and I wouldn't touch a client for less than $250/month so my base packages start at that price point.

I hear it's not uncommon for a local business to pay $1500 setup and $350+ monthly maintenance for seo only.
