If you had video screen ad space in Times Square, what would you promote?

If you had the eyeballs of a massive group of people, how would you make money off it if you didn't have your own product to sell?

If you had to make the best use of coveted ad space, what is the surest way to monetize it without using unethical means (like cell phone offers that have a $5/day recurring charge).

Off the top of my head, put up a large QR Code that folks can scan and then send them to a CPA offer that they can fill out on their phone. Not sure if you would get an ROI on this, but could be something to get the creative juices flowing.

So basically you would be offering a service to those eyeballs. Then find out what service is in demand and put it out there.

We had ad space for 3 months in Times Square where 1.5 million people pass the video boards every day. The problem is, there is so much to look at that they don't look at anything. We are a non-profit so we put up an ad with a 'Donate By Text' code throughout it. Money Raised - $10. Lesson learned - Priceless.

I'd offer something of value to the most profitable target market during the time period (I'm not from New York so hard to say what the majority of people are in the area)--probably an addictive form interactive entertainment--collect info and build a list.

Follow-up and segment that list, then broker it for profits.

Assuming I wanted to break out of my current business model into something completely untested that is?...
