Hey,

I want to offer my services to offline clients which I create mobile and or local sites for them. If someone could point me in the right direction such as software or sites that are rebrandable that'd be great. Possibly even to outsource it. I'm unsure where I can start and any help would be apprciated. Thanks.

  • MobiSiteGalore has a good white label program for building Mobile Sites, but they are kind of expensive-- looking at about $4k to start up.

I would recommend learning some basic HTML. The thing that is nice about mobile sites, is that by definition they are simple to use. I am by no means an HTML expert, in fact my skills are very limited, but I am able to take a template and make minor changes to customize for my clients. For projects that are beyond my basic skills, I just outsource on eLance.com.
  • Hi, we offer a mobile website white label service that may be of help to you. You provide the clients and we build the sites for you. If you would like more info PM me or click the link in my sig. Thanks. Mark
  • Check out WillR's WSO. He has a cool template and it's very inexpensive. He walks you through it step by step how to customize it, you need no HTML knowledge. I was very impressed and it sounds right up your alley:

  • Hi,
You may also visit our website if it could be of any help (Computer Support & Technology Consulting | Integracon Technologies | Knoxville TN 37909 865.330.2323).
    Thanks!
  • Warrior Ben - Thanks for the suggestion but a $4k start up is REALLY out of my budget for right now. That does seem like a good idea to learn some basic html so I can atleast edit some templates for diversity of clients.

Mark - Thanks for the suggestion too, but I would rather learn to make the sites myself, I just love learning instead of taking an easy way out, thanks anyways.

B and B - I took a look at it and it seems like a good WSO and cheap for what it offers. So far I think that is up on my list to get, definitely going to consider buying it.

francischan - Not really what I was looking for but thanks anyways.

midasman - I heard about Quentin's script before and whatnot, heard it was good but unfortunately I'm a cheap ******* .

But my game plan right now is that I collected a bunch of restaurants who don't have a local or mobile website and all their phone numbers. So I was going to create some websites for them using homestead as it's completely rebrandable, that way I can get some start up cash for other things. Now for some even better news, not only can I offer those who I build a website a discount for a mobile site just for good business, but the businesses that did have a site did not have a mobile site!

Thanks again everyone for lending a helping hand, love WF by far the best helping community I've come across in a LONG time.
