How To Get Your Foot In The Door of Offline Clients Using LIVE Video Lead-In [VIDEO]‏

Hey Offliners,

I've got a LIVE phone recording I did several days ago
for you, using GROUPON as a 'lead-in'...

(I refer to these as "cool-calls" in my Local Biz LIVE Video
program.)

Just click and listen... (and let me know what you think... if you'd use it, etc.)



(my voice on the recording comes out somewhat "lispy" due to the mic)

    I just wanted to say thanks for "letting us in" on your call. One, not a lot do, and two, it takes bravery (at least for me it would).

    Sounded good. It should also give a little boost to confidence to those looking to do what you're doing. We appreciate it.

      I HATE typical cold-calling and won't do it... I call this "cool-calling"...and this approach changes everything... and you're not pitchin' SEO, facebook, 'First Page Google'..etc., arghhhhhhhh none of that spiel.

      It's easier if you got a website to show 'em....(I use that as the name of my biz) You won't be just holding your... um, phone...in your hands. You got a real local biz site to show 'em.

      And there's other ways I get clients without the using the phone.

    I love this! I've been thinking of starting in with local businesses for doing all kinds of services for them. Google and facebook LOVE local businesses for ads and such. On top of that, I realize groupon traffic is supposed to bring them more business but it seems like they are getting more of a raw deal than a benefit. Thanks for the share though, gets me thinking of all kinds of things to get rolling with.

        That's a great idea Jim. I've been collecting Groupon leads - probably have about 20 right now - and I was waiting until I had an idea for how to best put them to use. I think I found it - thanks! (the beauty of this is by signing up with Groupon I get a lead emailed to me every day.

        How long have you been doing this? Enough to where you have any numbers on how many are becoming appointments and converting? In my mind the biggest challenge is getting in the door - once that's done it's all downhill from there. What do you think?

          I did letters with local biz owners using the same approach... but the calls get you in.

          Yup, it gets you IN IN IN the door... then you open up with whatever they
          mention..website, facebook, leads, etc. Go with the flow.

          I like your approach on getting in the door with a free video. I have gone to your website and have reviewed. What I would really like to know is once you have shot the video for them, which direction are you taking the merchant in? If you can elaborate that would be very helpful.

            That would take more time and space than I have here... But you can go anywhere with it... that pertains to marketing their biz. It may lead to website re-design, new website, adwords, CL, GP...whatever will get them more exposure.

            They will TELL you what they want when u get them talking. Bottom line is they want LEADS, the phone to ring, emails.... the rest is really justa means to an end.

    That's exactly what I was looking for.
    A live call and this is absolutely brilliant.
    It seems so so easy and you could even improve their Groupon for way higher fee(learned this system from an wso).
    So many things to upsell.

    This live example you gave us takes over on 99% of the WSO's out there and I think we all appreciate your help.I might also get your WSO soon cause it looks so good and i bet you explain every aspect of the method in detail in there too.

    This will put plenty people right on their feet, boost faith and confidence and start their own consulting business right away.

      Yeah... you can start small with this method...you don't have to go up against SEO giants or anything like that.

      Good point...you don't want to comes across as 'sales-ey' and by mention "groupon" it's something the biz owner can immediately connect with -- and is willing to talk about... more so than 'SEO' or 'First Page Google'.

      Later I ask them about creating an offer themselves -- without groupon... and that's when it gets interesting, as they see the value in what you offer.

    I finally feel comfortable with getting my foot in the local biz doors...
    I have no reluctance to doing this, moreover, I think I will actually
    ENJOY this and that makes such a difference in my motivation to get
    on with my offline biz. Got to get your WSO too... Thanks again!
