I want to know what wso's you would recommended that is basically a "business in a box" type of deal.

I am interested in stuff like the:
WordPress SMS Plugin by ChadWyatt
Local Marketing Plugin by ADHardwick

What have you purchased recently that you recommended?

IMHO, EzMobileSiteGenerator is the best WSO bargain going. If you want to provide mobile sites with no programming required, using the ease of WordPress but with the option of native HTML/CSS, it's quite a bargain. [Disclaimer: I'm not associated with that company in any way, BTW.]

Chad's SMS plugin is also a good choice, but--again, in my opinion--with less of an upside as a standalone business, but a great tool for your offline arsenal. The only issue with SMS is the dependence on a 3rd party (Twilio), but I think you're safe in this case. (An entire business based on SMS? Maybe...)

I wasn't familiar with ADHardwick's WSO (appears closed?), but it seems to be an even narrower niche of simply acting as a sales rep for a larger advertising outlet. I'm not sure how you'd grow this business: what are the upsells? Where do you go after you've sold the initial advertising? However, for someone interested mainly in sales, I can see the attraction.

Sorry if I'm off base with my last comments, but I'm more of a techy type and less of a sales rainmaker. Perhaps that's why Irene's EzMSG appeals to me.

Finally, with Facebook's latest changes coming on stream this weekend, I'm sure there will be opportunities for timeline pages, etc. Let the dust settle a bit first, though. Facebook has been known to amend its mandates in the past.
