What services are you offering to offline clients?

Hi guys,

I'm just curious really.

I'm currently offering:

> Local SEO (Google Places Listings)
> Organic SEO for generic keywords (on-page, off-page SEO, link building campaigns)
> Email marketing implementation
> Social media strategy and implementation
> Design services
> Overall consultation on a businesses current marketing strategy

I know that SMS marketing is starting to kick off in the US, but Im not sure if this would be as well received in the UK?

Anyway, I'm curious as to any other services that people are offering that may be worth me adding to my arsenal for my clients? I've heard a little about Reputation Management and that there is big $$ in it, but not sure what it entails?

Anyway, feel free to share what you are currently offering your offline clients and any tips you could provide in order to help the community overall...

Thanks :-)

JSTEF

We dont so much as offer services as we offer a
Well Rounded solution made up of Tactics for the Long Term USP.

There is no one answer or Magic Bullet for any one business. The
more well rounded of a consultant you become the better off you
will be at providing kick butt solutions to clients.

With that being said...SMS will surely be the next big wave.

      Regards,

SEO and basic design are about all I do... It seems most businesses either need a site, need their site revamped, or need people to FIND their site. I haven't really worked out how to expand past that.

I agree Diedra and wonder if this is a part of the op's 'email marketing implementation'.

Aweber is worth every penny in simplicity and functionality and they have a sweet affiliate program you can create additional residual income with.

One thing that is simple to add to your list is a branded Facebook fanpage that captures leads, just like their site. Would I be wrong if I said Facebook is approaching the 1 billion user mark? Its a no brainier for them and can mean a solid $295 or $495 upsell that links right up with their Aweber subscription

    Looking good so far guys!

Yes I also agree that one size doesn't fit all and you need to tailor a solution to their business/market, etc.

I've touched on video marketing and have applied a YouTube strategy for one of my clients.

Lead generation is kind of the overall goal for everything we do, as this allows the business owner to see that they are getting business from all of these individual marketing elements.

I admit I do need to look more into SMS marketing and start offering it to clients to see what the uptake would be... I think the US is slightly ahead of online marketing techniques, and more open to them, than the UK. It seems that we are a much more skeptical bunch when we come to putting our hands in our pockets (either as consumers or business owners).

This threads coming along nicely with some insightful posts so far, if anyone else wants to contribute with your range of services or anecdotes of successes (small or large), feel free to add your 2 cents :-)

I have done a lot of TV spots and media buys. I have a very specific market I'm known for and get a number of calls about it from just word of mouth.

I'm starting to introduce conversion rate optimisation into the mix.

I've just agreed joint venture terms with a firm who specialise in CRO, so that will be something additional that I can offer my clients that will provide an ROI ten fold.

Not taking new clients but before was basically this every time. Also would look out for opportunities to market to their existing customers, emails etc.

    1. Fix website, copywriting, design, put on wordpress.

    2. SEO and Google Places.

    3. Then PPC.

Something new that I've started to offer is a print magazine for the business to hand out to prospects and customers.

This works well for high dollar transaction businesses (contractor, cosmetic dentist, cosmetic surgeon, car dealer) and businesses that serve passionate customers (hobby related businesses--especially expensive hobbies).

One of the great things about this is the business can sell advertising to other local businesses who target the same customer demographic which offsets the cost of printing the magazine.

Thats excellent Kevin, definitely thinking outside of the box with that one.

I think thats what we need to do for business owners - not to come up with gimmicks - but to come up with slightly different alternatives to the same old same old marketing techniques (ie yellow pages) and offer something different from the norm which WILL result in them getting clients!
