Let clients make their own website plugin?

Is there a wordpress plugin that will allow cutomers to make website changes themselves AND prevent them from accidentally "breaking" things?

I want to provide local business owners a website that would allow themselves to make their own changes and modify/create their own content.

  • WordPress itself is the solution for this, if I'm reading your question correctly...

    Just set them up with a WordPress site and then give them the login info and they can easily make changes to their site within the WordPress backend.

    Just be sure to tell them not to change any of the PHP code. It is also worthwhile to spend a half hour or hour training them on how to use WordPress... this will save you hours down the road from them asking you questions.

  • When i set up a Wp install for a client I tell them to only edit
    add category
    add page
    add post
    and not to play with anything else on the dashboard without telling me first
    most prefer me to do most editing and will only want to make minor changes and add to the blog category... chuckle ... in fact most will just send an email telling me what changes they want made ..
