Mobile sites potential clients question

Normally when it comes to targeting clients for mobile sites, I always have the usual suspects in mind. For example: Plumbers,Health clubs, Pizzas, florist etc.

But today I have this questions that pop up in my mind that need to be answered.

What do you guys think, can we convince to these offline businesses such as Commercial Air Conditioning dealers, Commercial Heating contractors, scaffolding suppliers and Sauna Equipment Dealers that their business needs mobile optimized sites in order to boost their sales.

And if they agree with our suggestion, can these mobile sites really help them?

I know that the usual suspects will benefit from mobile sites (restaurant, cleaners, pest control etc) but I am just not sure whether the businesses I mentioned above will benefit from it.

My first inclination is to answer YES, and here is why:

Watch the video on this page. Pay particular attention to the statistics of mobile users who searched for local information and how many of those made a purchase based on that search within 24 hours. This is powerful stuff! We use this video in our marketing materials. Why invent the wheel when you can use google's own genius.

Stunning video from Google shows just how important mobile is becoming for marketing

Hi IdeaFool, thanks for the link. Yes, I think this video can be a very good marketing material to convince prospect about the importance of mobile optimized websites.

So do you use it with the emails you sent to your prospects? How's the response?

So far, our sales team makes one-on-one visits to contacts they had previously. We market to realtors at this time, and our Co-Owner/Sales is a former realtor. She's been using the video to convince her friends to buy our services. Additionally, we will probably having it running on a loop at our booth during trade shows.

At present, this has kept us busy, but as we run out of her contacts, we will more than likely use the vid in emails or reference it in ads.
