Your Marketing-Mafia Style...

Today we're going back in time with a little longer post, so sit back, relax and get ready.

We're going back in time like I said. The time where mobsters ran wild through the streets and if you were looking for something, they could get it or take it for you.

One mobster, Lucky Luciano, was born in Sicily but took his mobster ways to New York.

Not only is he known for being the "Father" of modern organized crime in America since he was responsible for splitting New York City into five different Mafia crime families and the establishment of the first commission...

But he was also the first official boss of the modern Genovese crime family.

He was, along with his associate, instrumental in the development of the "National Crime Syndicate" in the United States. Besides being involved with all that, he was actually...

An Entrepreneur.

At the time, alcohol was outlawed and Lucky saw an opportunity since everyone wanted it and would pay good money for it. They wanted it but had no way to get it.

He saw the great want or need for that market and took advantage of it.

He imported whiskey, scotch and other liquors from outside the U.S. and sold them in underground bars and other places the mob ran.

Any competition...

Let's just say they went out of business.

Now I'm not saying go out there and break knee caps, hang out the cars with your tommy guns and do illegal actions, but what I am saying is...

Look for the deep need and desires in your target market, a market that is hungry for something not available to them currently, but wants.

Every market, no matter how competitive or no matter how small or large...

Has a missing ingredient wanted or a desired need not offered or given to them currently.

How could you find such a thing without getting into shoot outs and wild car chases?

You take over your market simply by drilling into your target customers and market.

Not the basics like male/female, age, married or not (although can be great marketing knowledge), but by asking, communicating, surveying, allowing feedback, research and testing and more.

Really dive into your market...

What needs, wants, desires do they have? Where do they all socialize? Do they go to a similar but direct competitor of yours? What hobbies? Drill Baby!

Once you do that, you start communicating with them the right way and offer that missing thing they want with an offer they can't refuse...

This will not only lead you on being the obvious choice of your market, but also allow you to tap into a market that will pay real good money for what you have.

And who knows...

You might become the godfather of your market using this mafia marketing in your business.

Till Next Time.
