Anyone specializing in re-activations?

Many moons ago, I read a thread about re-activating former customers/clients for a business and getting a cut from any returning customer by the business. It was about somebody doing this, the guy was retired and traveled around in his RV, re-activating patients for dentists.

That is about all I remember, besides that he was actually making good money doing this. If anyone of you specialize in re-activation, please share what you can.

Looking forward to your input, thanks, Eva

Hmm, seems like it wouldn't be that"easy" unless you'd figured out an efficient way to track. Still though, if anyone has a simple way to do so, could be quite lucrative if set up right.

      Anyone else?

I have a booklet I wrote that I send to my own clients and also health practitioners use it to mail out as a holiday gift to re-activate past customers.

One thing you can do that can avoid tracking problems would be to charge as a consultant and help them set up an e-mail list for contacting clients again. You could also teach them about forms of re-activation including sending out birthday cards, types of holiday gifts that are inexpensive and effective and simple types of letters that are sent periodically to just check in with a past or current customer that doesn't involve selling. I remember reading about someone who sent out clippings to customers of various newspaper articles when he saw something that related to their interests. Again, tracking does seem to be the issue with many re-activation methods.

      That is all good stuff.

But are they really going to do it?

They want it done for them.

If you can show them a way where you will do all of the work and they will make most of the money, that is a more compelling proposition.

Tracking can be an issue, but there are ways it can be done.

        .
Would you care to elaborate on ways it can be done? Do you need to purchase any special software or?

        Thanks in advance, Eva

You want.....little ol' ME to just.....GIVE AWAY all my SECRETS?

Whoopie FIZZ......I'm NOT trying.....to sell ANYTHING!

          Kidding, of course.

One option is to set up a special web page that you control so you can track who is responding.

Another is to create a section in your agreement that you have the right to check their books to make sure nothing slipped through the cracks.

And it's not just to make sure you're not getting ripped off. It's to ensure everyone's on the same page.

And if a potential client doesn't agree to this . . . you have to ask yourself, what do they have to hide?

Plus, they should WANT you to have access to the books, so you actually get paid for 100% of your efforts. After all, you're putting "found money" in their coffers, and the client should want that to continue indefinitely.
