Franchise Client and Google Places
I am working with a client that is a franchise. There are 2 other franchise stores in my area that are both ranking higher in GP, with multiple GP pages.
I am finding that 1 of my clients' 2 GP pages is claimed by the corporate marketing company DAC Group. I have claimed the other listing but not worked it yet.
DAC is allowing a management portal, but states it will only allow certain info to be updated, what that is I don't know.
Is there some backlinking I can do to boost my clients GP page ranking since I don't have access to the GP page that DAC has control over?
All the work I normally do for GP pages in "onpage" and works great, but unless I do it for the duplicate listing I don't have access.
I'm thinking I should not work with franchises anymore.
Anyone got some good advice for me here?
