Google+1 question

Hi guys,

Quick question.

On the Google search results, there is a Google+1 button next to each URL (when you are logged in to your google account anyway).

Am I correct in understanding that the more this +1 button is clicked by unique users (random people) this will improve that websites SEO ranking?

Or is it not quite that simple? As you can purchase 100 +1's from fiverr.com??

If anyone had an idea that would be great!

  • It is that simple, though via fiverr you can get not unique +1's, from the sampe IP or computer just different gmail account. According to google +1's does help to improve site's SEO.

    So for it to be effective, they would need to be from unique IPs and not just different gmail accounts?

    Has anyone seen any improvements in the SERPs through doing this?
