How much should I charge for a mobile site?

Hi Guys,

I do web design and I wanted to know how much I should charge for a mobile site. Like a rough estimate per page. Help from anyone with experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    I sold mine at $297 per site and each site has 6pages. So far it's doing fine at this price point. I might consider to increase it to $397 depending on the nature of business.

    if its any help we typical sell sites for upwards of $250+ have even done a very customized mobile site integrating it with Joomla, Community Builder, and Docman for $2000+

    I'm actually in the process of testing this. I've been selling at $297 and conversions are going really well so I'm onto $397 for now. Will be sure to come back to this thread if it is still active in a week or so to follow up with results.

    We normally charge $327 w/ 30 days free hosting, and $25 month hosting thereafter. Been considering throwing in 30 days of SMS to keep the continuity and larger monthly residuals.

      I don't really understand the hosting charge for a mobile site. Since you are creating a mobile version, don't they already have a regular website which would mean they already have their own hosting? I would imagine they wouldn't want it hosted on a subdomain on your own site. Please clarify if possible, I'm interested in this technique.

    We prefer to use gomobi, which a LOT of people will tell you not to. Thus far, we haven't issues with them, and it was the 1st platform we used before having any knowledge of scripts.

    With gomobi, the hosting of the mobile site, is totally seperate from their hosting accounts. You can still however use a redirect script to place on their main site.

    Should anything happen to those sites, we have Will R's script as back up.

    For each account I usually pay the hosting up front for a year, so the $25 is profit.
    Leading to an overall profit of $560 per site ($327 + $25 x 12 - expenses = $560)

    I did have one client who stopped paying for 4 months, and I shut the site down. They immediatley called, apologized, caught up on payment, and asked me for another service.

      The Gomobi resellers I checked out do not provide the source code, so how can you back it up?

      And what is "Will R's script"?
