Quick backlink building for local businesses

I have just taken on a few local businesses as clients. I am going to manually post them to local search directories at first (I believe is the best practice), but I also am looking to find a backlinking tool to make my job easier. And to push my clients on the front page for local SERPS.

    Are you hiding a question in all that or just exclaiming your greatness?

    Citations are always great for the local listings but good luck with the software. You need to be careful which ones you use, and make sure you're actually getting quality.

    • why do you have seo services and products in your signature if you don't know how to backlink? there are a ton of tools out there, just be tasteful with them. if the sites are established, they should be able to handle more links quicker. explain to them seo is not a race, results are measured in months and years

  • It would be best to manually go about link building. Article marketing will get you lot of these quickly.
