Offline + CPA + Flyers

So i read on here that conversions are going to be totally different to online marketing because you can target people a lot easier online.

So some direction and tips would be greatly appreciated.

So i'm thinking along the lines of:

The local NHL stadium parking has to cross a public street to get to the private land of the stadium.

If i stand there and hand out a flyer to win a NHL jersey of the home team. Mainly because you are getting targeted people right?

Either use a SMS gateway or a straight URL to a landing page to collect their information and auto respond an email telling them to complete the incentive CPA (signup/email submit which ever) to be entered into the draw.

I know i want to collect their information e.g. email address to further promote another similar offer to them.

It just seems to me a long way around, is there a less complicated (for the end users) to enter into this draw.

    Do you really want to stand around and hand out flyers? Sure it could work, but it will be time consuming, and some of these people will automatically think that they won't win the drawing, and will throw your flyer away... which means that you can lose alot of money and time with this approach.

    But if you have time to spare, do it and see how it works. I would do postcard marketing if it was up to me.

    It'd be better to get contracts with businesses that will hand out your flyer for you. Like maybe work out a deal with a local pizza place to attach your flyer to every pizza box. Or somebody that is doing a huge seminar.. have them hand out your flyer along with all of the other stuff they are handing out.

      I agree with Rocket Media ... That way will get tired very fast if you do it yourself... Look to hire somone very cheaply to do it for you and check your stats.

        Ye i read the pizza one on the forum about giving them a % and get them to hand out a flyer with a related deal e.g. movie or something.

        Ye i am sure a lot of people will just throw a flyer away but same concept as someone will just close your web page. All about conversions and selling it correctly and enticing people right?

        I maybe would higher somebody but who knows if they will give them out id rather start of with myself. Drag the wife into it too, make it date night haha she wont like that..

        I wouldn't plan on handing them out in the middle of down town, i would target them as per hockey idea or stand out side a coffee store offering the "get a free starbucks gift card" cpa.

        I know people make it work, all about testing i guess just going to do it and see what happens.
