OFFLINE MARKETING

Hey, ever see those little bags of shredded US currency? Yeah, well I've got about 1500 bags with approx. $200 in each one. They're left overs from a direct mail program we did a while back and I hate to put them out in the trash...so....they're taking up space in my storage room.

If any of you marketing guys have clients who might try the money mailing idea...they can have these...free.. they'd have to pay the UPS is all

Are these the kind of bills that copywriters would use to attach a $1 bill at the top of a sales letter? Is this real money or fake?

  If you live in a city w/a lot of conventions and large get togethers (seminars, presentations, etc) contact the organizers. They may have an interest especially those promoting some sort of financial product.

You could use it in a direct mail piece in lots of ways...

It's trashed money.. unusable... inside of a little plastic baggie or something..

Like throwing money away?

We don't either, save money with our service (insert relavent copy)

Have someone drive and drop on people's driveways..

That kind of thing...

These are big boxes with 500 packages of money in each one...I just got a price of $30 to ship a box of 500...if RRG doesn't take all three boxes...you are welcome to them.

Two things:

1. You don't know what you're talking about.

2. One thing people on this good forum don't like is when people join only to make empty posts in the hopes that people will click on their sig links.

I have a friend who attached little baggies of these to letters he sent out for a direct mail piece. They make good grabbers and he saw a boost in response, compared to the same letter without the grabber.
