Are all the new affiliate programs a scam or a waste of time?

Recently I joined a ' hot' program, it seemed promising as it promoted a system in the profitable mobile marketplace, but as you expect, they were upsells, and I just took one .. guess what ... the idea seems to be interesting, but the program is confusing, and I am not talking like a newbie to the internet, exactly the opposite, as I am well versed in all the technical stuff, a bit newb to IM, though, because I always thought it was about selling 'smoke' ... anyways the thing picked my curiosity and decided to buy it, to say the least, I went through all their videos, and they are not even CLOSELY related!, The program is vague, about the way of really doing some money with the product, as there is just a WP backup plug in! So I started experimenting, trying to get visitors to my site, using SEO techniques, and of course I joined their JV program to see if I can make some money, at least if I don't decide to go directly for a refund ...
From the stand point of a regular user, the product look awesome, but to me it was disappointing, to find those crappy videos, and not the real way to actually at least try to make some with it. So now I will keep testing my promotions, to see if at least I grab some cash as an affiliate, because with the program and its obscure way to explain things, I don't think I can start making real money ...

I am a new member, but not new in traditional marketing, and email marketing, so I am trying to understand, believe or not I am a JV in other affiliate programs and already had sales ... Again another experiment, because I never used CB before, nor promoted CB products ...

BTW I just went to a seminar they promoted and guess what ....

I was invited to a Carbon Copy of the same webinar! Exactly the same for Mobile Affiliate X, this was rather disappointing, as they showed the same one mentioned here, which I also attended! And Frank Lucas sent me an invitation to the new one! Guess what the same 'mystery man', same speech, everything was a recording, so is this guy opening this every single month?
It was down to the letter even the fact there was ONLY one copy left!

    Hello ic3cold!
I might be not the knowledgeable person to give you advise, but I assure you I'm a skeptical type person. I can feel if a product will suite for me, or if it can give me any benefits. Based from what you've said I can say give more time to your investment to be paid off, even a little will return. You can call it a scam if you don't get even a little in return of your investment, call it waste of time if after waiting patiently and investing time to make it still nothing happens.
Call it scam and waste of time if you are experiencing both.
Now, I will ask you if have you make any research about the product?
IMHO, a typical person will surely land in a computer doing some search, if you didn't, then do it now and make a thorough research, better ask some of your folks who bit the program.

Another thing, you said you have attended other seminar but the thing they said are exactly similar to what was taught on previous one, then for me it's clear to make a conclusion, you know what it'll be, right?
Furthermore, if you can find some protection, I'm speaking of Law, that protects you, the victims or other people been in that situation, then ask for it now. I believe in other country there's a restriction in Internet.

Lastly, don't skip the legal papers!

    Thanks,
    MrSS

Why? Backup your answer so you can justify and proof your answer.
In this way we can convince people more (esp the topic starter).

    With all due respect,

Ok, here's the thing I was talking about the demo presentation, it was curious to see how someone who said it will limit his market to 15 people does exactly the same presentation, and gets more buyers! So for me evidently he makes a bunch of money promoting and selling his program not using it...

As you suggested I am trying and giving some of these programs sometime, in fact I managed a few conversions but nothing near the amounts I should be making. But now the problem is lack of conversions after those few
, even using different lists. So in my point of view these products lost their momentum ... The problem is they don't renew your campaigns so you are stuck with the old ones ... So the program has been overrated

I am trying to build fresh lists to have a broader market...
