Hey I am working on doing some offline joint ventures, so far got two meetings coming up.

But I wanted to know is there any good resources or a copy and paste template where I can make an agreement contract explaining liability and such...

You may need to have it adapted to your particular situation,

As a cut and paste contract would not cover all possible situations,

But most of the contract will be standard so youll have just a couple articles to change.

A contract is nothing, UNLESS you get it notarized, at a bank or by a licensed person. Remember to have them sign it in front of a notoriety; the contact should cover everything that applies to your situation. Don't just copy one, because any lawyer can find holes in it. Also don't say, if "this person gets hurt they can't sue", cover it in legal terms, to not let any bylaws over on you.

Contracts are a matter of Law and this changes depending on the jurisdiction you are in.

The contract should state which State's/Countrie's laws it is using.

If you need a contract, have a lawyer write it up. Otherwise you will most likely find that it is not enforceable. Either through being invalid or not applicable in the circumstances.

You also need somebody who understands legal terminology. You could be signing a contract that obligates you to doing things you would rather not do.

This happens when the popular and legal definitions of words are not the same.
