Any Thoughts on if This Would Work?
I was just thinking of this possible method. I am new to offline marketing for SEO and website services since Wednesday and have been trying different ways to get clients and have 2 appointments Monday already so I know that methods here on WF work! Just wanted to run this by my brethren here at WF.
What if you were to open up the Yellow Pages and find businesses that dont have websites and contact them with this: I know they have been approached by a few if not many website and seo firms and I'm sure have been hit with $1000's price tags for these sites and SEO services. (Just the 2 people I have appointments with stated $4500, $3000, and $1500 website price quotes from my competition in which I am going to quote $497 and $197 a month for SEO). Anyways, call these businesses and state you are doing a drawing for local businesses to help them in this economy by a 3 place drawing of - First Place: Free Website - Second Place: Website for $297 - And Third Place: Website for $497.
I don't know if this would work but if they're hearing $1000's from people maybe they would be interested in hearing more then you can schedule an interview or even flip it around and ask for the interview first then offer the drawing. Obviously I would stick to the drawing and actually give someone a website free it may open the door to getting several deals a week by doing several drawings.
