WordPress Theme Grief

Okay, this is the goal:

ONE simple, customizable WordPress theme that I can easily change the background and theme colors, and is easily mobile-ready, so that I can customize the theme for small business clients.

The reason why I just want one theme is because I don't want to have to keep spending (wasting) time figuring out how to use the theme for a new client.

Options I've found so far:

1. Flexx Theme by IThemes, except the font is too small for my liking, plus they don't really look up-to-date.

2. Artisteer software, except I want to be able to use the cool photo sliders or graphics at the top of the theme, and I haven't quite figured out how to do that with Artisteer. Plus Artisteer can still cause me to spend more time designing the theme than I would like.

3. Site Crusher WSO. I created a design today with their newest version of SiteCrusher theme and it looks great! Except I tried to load it on my cell phone and NO GO. I have to customize the mobile and Facebook versions, but the instructions just aren't clear enough for my liking.

4. Jerome's business themes WSO. I really like the way these themes look, but they're too complicated for my needs! I wish I could just figure out how to take one of those themes, add a logo, five pages with images, and add widgets to the home page. It's like someone giving you a bulldozer to pick up a brick.

Any suggestions???

I second Matt's suggestion - Kezz's theme is dead easy and very customisable.

Wow, I forgot about that Web Weaver plugin.

Anyhow, I've decided to go ahead and keep playing with the Site Crusher theme to see if I can get the mobile version to work.

Also, since I've been using Artisteer for years, I decided this evening to purchase Templateer, which works with Artisteer themes to add a lot more customization.

I just took it out the box, but the functionality is amazing. For instance, I decided that I wanted to copy this website that uses the Essence theme from Ithemes:

      Yoga Bala.

So with Artisteer and a little help from Templateer, I created this theme:

      Test Blog

I just did that in an hour or so....I know if I keep playing with it and learn how to properly use Templateer, I can make it almost an exact match.

That's the nice thing about Artisteer...I can copy any site I want.

    I recently asked a similar Q:

    http://www.warriorforum.com/offline-...g-clients.html

And I ended up going with iThemes builder theme with a PluginBuddy Developer's licence.

Then I just created an "ultimate offline design" for one of my clients, and now I can easily duplicate that design using BackupBuddy for future clients (switching out logos, videos and content will be fast)

    Just a thought
