Heya guys,

Just wondering how much success you guys have had generating leads from linkedin?

Basically i rank #1 in NZ for a bunch of keywords such as 'small business marketing' etc. I believe im ranked around 2/3rd pages world wide for SEO/Facebook/Social Media marketing also.

Just wondering if anyone knows ways to leverage this

  • Just an update. I'm currently ranking #1 for the term marketing in my country (over 30k results).

Any other ideas on how to approach businesses?
  • It's going great for me. I'm currently with an online lead generation system to generate my online leads. So far, all my leads I've generated are free from different sources. From social media to search engines. As for linkedin, my strategy is to engage into groups. Join conversations and start relationship building. It's very effective as long as you know what you're doing.
  • LinkedIn can be a great way to get leads. I've found that short messages to people work much better than long drawn out e-mails explaining everything you do. Keep it short and sweet.

It is very good that you have a working example of SEOing your own business. It might be worthwhile to look at your webpage and really optimize it to capture leads because people will obviously have seen first hand that you are #1 by landing at your site.

  • Its great to know that you are doing well with social media channels especially with LinkedIn. Success is almost there since you are on the top rankings. But being on top is your goal? And being on top of the rankings gives you qualified leads or conversions? If your answer to my questions is "no" then you need to work on generating qualified leads that convert.
