what should I charge?

OK, so for those of you who have been following my posts, (thank you,) I met with my very first offline client. She seems interested, but this is what she wants.

Custom multipage facebook fan page. (I have software for this, that's how I approached her.)

A product page with about 40 products. (it can do this,)

Integrate it with this scheduling software she already has. (doable, but complicated)

A video slide show showcasing her 300 pictures. I was thinking about a simple disolve between them with a cool fiver opening with her logo and some nice music.

What should I charge for this? I don't live in rich area, and I don't want to overcharge, (she's my first client,) but I don't want to undercharge either.)

Any thoughts?

    These might help:

    Facebook pages: http://www.warriorforum.com/offline-...ess-pages.html

    Video production: http://www.warriorforum.com/offline-...o-well-me.html

Also you can ask other local web design/seo firms what they charge pretend you're a potential client of course.

Do you have any idea what her budget is? Or what she might pay for all this?

The reason I ask is because clients have always offered me more for my services than I would ever had charged them.

Whatever you end up charging, don't sell yourself short.

Have you thought about charging by the hour so that if it goes over what you suggested, you will get paid?

My guess is that you will find a wide range of different answers here, but this is my opinion.

I don't like to overcharge, but neither go with the extremely low prices some people offer, what I think is really damaging professional web developers and graphic designers.

Having said so, let me tell you about the price:
    - You can estimate the number of hours the job will take you and charge it based on your hourly price (something about $25-30/hour)
    - You can give a price based on market prices, and here is where you will find very different prices. I can tell you what I charge for custom Facebook pages (1 landing tab + reveal tab): from $97 to $290 depending on the graphic design needed and features included).
