This is a great tool: Meta Tag Analyzer...
What is it?
It will show you how your site is displayed on a search engine page.
This keyword density tool is like a report card on your web page.
Green = Good, Orange = Warning, and Red = Error.
It is easy to use. Just go to the site. Type in your URL (website name) and the access code. Then , submit.
What you will see, is the content from the search engines point of view.
Here you can examine:
Your Status: Date modified, web server, content type, charset,
content length.
Meta tag reports: Title and description. Meta tag, length and value.
Meta tags analysis: Title errors, title relevancy to page content.
Description, mega tags relevancy to page.
Web page analysis: Size of the web page and load time.
Plus, how your site is displayed on a search engine page and keywords that were found including how many times.
(There is a lot more information that is on this site, but, I just wanted to go through the basics.)
If you do need to fix a page, a lot of times it will be changing your title and description where you created the page.
Re-upload to the web. Then, go back to the Mega Tag Analyzer, Hit F5 to refresh and see the new changes.
Good Luck, hope this was helpful.
