What's the best Facebook fanpage builder for offline clients ?

I thought finding a high quality wysywig facebook page builder for offline clients would be easy ..... hmm, not so.

Looks like many fanpage builders require hosting on 3rd party servers for a monthly fee, ideally I'd like as much control as possible.

I've seen some which extend from a wordpress install .... That's ok I guess but If I haven't done the clients website or it's not in wordpress, that can make things look inconsistent.

I'm not too involved in coding for facebook apps, a friendly user interface is essential really.

Not sure what Fanpage builder product to invest in, does anybody have any suggestions/recommendations ?

Any help appreciated very much, thanks.

    Hi,

I use Easy Fanpage Design. It's a Wordpress Plugin. You can get the Facebook Fan Page to resemble the primary site with this plugin. The plugin is by Justin Wheeler. He's a pretty responsive Guy.

    www.EasyFanPageDesign.com

    Hope that helps,

I like wp fanpro By Jason Fladlin. It's a wordpress plugin too and his tutorials on how to use it (and get the newly required ssl certificate)are fantastic.

There are many choices, but first you need to decide where the hosting will be.

    1. Are you going to host it? if s, then you can simply get a dedicated IP and an SSL Certificate and use any number of WSO products that have come out. But the problem is you don't want to code or have to code to really pretty up the end products.

    2. Use a service and get a developers license from any number of online providers that will also give you a client manager.

    3. There are plenty of Warriors that will build them for you.

    4. Of course there is that Facebook "inhouse" apps like Static HTML and such.

Personally, I feel that if you don't want to code, and you ant to have a built in client manager, then go with a service.

Edit: They recently had a customer service rep call me personally to handle my issues. We worked through them and now things are right. I appreciate them going out of their way to do that. Nice work, guys.

I've been using WP FanPro and have mixed feelings. It's pretty flexible and makes some killer pages, but I run into a lot of issues, some are my own fault, but I think if the system was a little more intuitive then I wouldn't miss the things that create the issues. They have tutorials that are pretty good, but support is really, really slow. Submitted several tickets and only heard back from one about two days after I submitted it. It wasn't even helpful. I would expect more responsive support for $97.

Frankly, I think it has a lot of potential, but it hasn't reached my expectations and I'm a little frustrated with it at the moment. I hope, and expect, my issues to get resolved.
