Restaurants, Marketing, & JV
These reps stated they did in service education at medical offices and at hospitals about their products and that they regularly buy/bring lunches to these meetings.
Apparently, few restaurants deliver lunch so their might be an opportunity to full fill this gap by finding restaurants that will deliver and pharmaceutical reps who would like this service.
Reps stated they tried to line up 1-3 lunches/services per week with 2-10+ lunches served.
When lunches are delivered, it enables rep to spend more time with staff thus allowing them more time to educate the medical staff about their products.
The challenge:
Find restaurants willing to deliver lunches in a timely manner to these offices or a delivery service that will take lunches to offices.
How do we find these reps:
1) Call doctors offices and let them know what you are trying to do
2) Get the reps name from the doctors and call them
3) Ask rep if he does in service education for medical staff at office/hospital
4) If rep does in service eduction, how many lunches does he usually need
Our opportunity:
Find restaurants that are looking to increase their lunch revenues and find out how much and if they would deliver lunches.
Find the reps and tell them this restaurant or restaurants will deliver and the cost of delivery is ___.
Reps X # of lunches per week X $per lunch = $ spent per week x 4 = $ spent per month
Restaurants receive increased revenue for lunches delivered + deliver a sample of the food they serve which might equal increased revenue for dinner as receipents of lunches go there for other meals and they bring friends to the restaurant.
We receive a percentage of $ spent, on the lunches delivered, for as long as restaurants agree to deliver meals.
More reps mean more $ weekly, monthly, and yearly. Could amount to a bundle after a JV is set up with the restaurants.
Once everything is set up, little else would need to be done except for tracking lunches delivered.
Would this JV between restaurant and marketing rep be feasible?
Is this do able or would it be to hard to track?
How about other niche groups or industries?
