Where to get Sales Rep?

Hey guys, I'm looking for somewhere to get a few sales reps but I have made probably 10+ posts on Craiglist everyday for like 4 days and tried other classified sites.

Is there a better solution besides classified ads? I looked at rephunter and their prices were insane... $200+ monthly to find sales reps.

IS there a cheap solution to find some?! Also, I will be paying the reps on a 30% commission.

thanks all, Connor.

Just beware, the quality of candidates off CL for commission salespeople is typically not great. There can be a few stand-outs but I put together an agency business for calling on behalf of a management consulting firm and it was awful. Most of the candidates had no sales skills whatsoever, were professionals who would jump out of Sales and back into their field (psychologists, for example) as soon as possible, or people who lacked commitment.

Moving through these candidates was a real effort. It took me three rounds of ads and screening before I found two real salespeople who would stick with it.

I see all these posts about people wondering where to find sales reps. It's almost like you think they are hiding out in some secret salesguy hangout.

Personally I believe it's easier to try selling your own product yourself although I know a lot of you will argue with me about that, so I'll pass that off as IMHO....however, I think if you don't have a proven track record as an employer/business owner/service or product provider it's not going to be easy to attract any type of sales person.

One thing that may attract a salesperson is if you can provide them with appointments....not easy but not as hard to find as a salesperson.

I think the best thing you could do is find someone you know who needs a few bucks..lots of them around....write an appointment script...and pay per appointment. Lot of ways to work the pay out, but you have to give some good incentive to get a sales person on your team.
