How can I display Google places in Iframes

Hi

I have found displaying an external webpage in iframe relatively easy using wordpress plugins.

This is quite a useful for displaying a clients website, and then adding videos/ images using a slide in plugin.

But

Cannot seem to be able to display facebook pages or google place pages.

I want to be able to display a clients google place listing, and then drop in a video, explaining the benefits of an optimised google place listing

Would appreciate any advice

    Just out of curiosity, why not use a screen shot with arrows pointing to things and annotations on the image?

    for facebook, they use fbml for iframe ... check fb:iframe - Facebook Developers

    Not sure exactly what you are trying to achieve with this, google places is great but I do not display them on my clients pages, If you go to youtube you can use the youtube search stories video tool to make a quick video on the site itself and you can see an example on my site seocardiff-wales.co.uk (it's fairly new and I have neglected it for the past few weeks doing clients stuff) If you are using wordpress then I find a simple like +1 and retweet pluging works and you don't have to put the FB page on it to get the social juice from google 1-click-retweetsharelike is a great free plugin for this.

    PPS if you are using HTML sites then Weebley has this built in, and it's free, you can download the site and upload the places page via ftp

    a lot of people do the screen capture / then email method.

    i think YOUR idea is better.

    i will see if i get the frame to work for google. ill let you i know if i do
    i thinks its a better solution. and if i get it working ill pm you with how to do it.

    i hope i can get it work, thanks for the idea.

    There should be no problem with iframes at all .... Think of iframe as a browser within browser

    it can display any url or page
