The quickest way to get an offline check?

It seems like there's a lot of people that are into offline consulting.

How is the market now? Is there still room for people?

How fast can I realistically get into the offline world and make my 1st check?

Thanks so much! I'm a little bit new here at least to the offline world. I've made some money online not a lot but enough to make me believe that it's possible to make money online now I want to get into offline if there's still room.

If you have some thing to actually sell. you can get on the phone and have your fist check today.

that's prob not going to happen unless you get lucky.

but if you keep smiling and dialing, and don't give up. The numbers say you will prob have a check or 2 by this friday.

    Good Luck.

I think its best to combine the two, the more options you have the better chance of success, providing they are all set up correctly

Last time I checked, there was 50 million+ businesses on Google Places.

Plenty of room for everyone, you just need to go in there like a rockstar, rise above the crowd and differentiate yourself from everyone else.

As far as the quickest way to get a check, that depends. Do you want a big check? A small check?

Go in and offer to waive your Google Places setup/optimization fee and offer an introductory monthly rate of $99/month for the first 3 months. $197 if they pay for the 3 months upfront.

Once your foot is in the door, as long as you do a good job and get results, you'll be open to all kinds of up-sells... SMS, website re-design/optimization (and by this I don't just mean a new design and seo, I mean optimizing the site so that it converts visitors to phone calls, walk-ins or sales), social media, etc.

It's a booming industry right now with lots of room for everyone.

The only risky thing about now is the state of the economy and offline clients are scared of parting with their hard earned cash.

You also need to consider that most offline clients will contact several service providers so you need to make sure you stand out and are fully memorable.

Get your authority across first, then listen to them and identify their pains and this will help you create your pitch.

I am sure I will get slammed for this but I find its true every time. If you want to get a big pay check you need to work out a bespoke service specifically for them. Each and every client has different needs and desires and many have some degree of SEO now and are keen to do some of the leg work themselves to shave money of your bill. If you can gain compassion with them and work out a great win win for you both then the potential is endless

I feel we are at the very early stages with Offline Marketing. Many business owners try to do it themselves and fall short. I think there is a huge market to go in and train business owners or have them outsource the work.
It takes relationship building, being an ex-business owner myself, you might have to meet with a business owner 5 to 10 times before they sign a deal. It took me 3 months to land a local franchise with 18 locations and now I have 200 locations nationally. It works...be patient.

The offline consulting realm is very lucrative, and you benefit because the people here in this forum will more than likely NOT be in your city. So you can approach business owners in your city and question them about their marketing and advertising campaigns.

Getting your 1st check all depends on how well your telemarketing or direct mail is. Practice your cold calling technique (if you plan on using it), and definitely learn that direct mail. Both techniques can get prospective clients calling you for more information, its just up to you to bring it into fruition.
