Where can I find offline affiliates

I have a SMS business. And i would like to hire affiliates on a pay by performance basis.
Basically, they will get paid per person that buys my services.

People would have to be US based.

Does anyone know where i can hire people like this?

You could probably run an ad on Craigslist, a magazine, or your local newspaper and find people who wouldn't mind jumping on this business opportunity. I'm willing to bet that you'll find some people willing to jump on this venture. Just make it worth their time tho. You can do this.... or go to the mall and approach people manually about your opportunity lol. Yup, there are people who do this all the time. And some of them have success with it. Your choice tho.

Thanks for your advice daniel! I'll probably do craigslist as a way of finding people.

Your best bet is to hire experienced B2B sales people, on a commission basis. As Daniel noted, Craigslist, newspaper, etc. can be good ways of finding good sales people.

Something I like to do is figure out what other people are doing first and then modify that approach to fit my business.

For example if I wanted to hire an appointment setter I would just Google "appointment setter craigslist" and off I go. There's several ads like this one:

    APPOINTMENT SETTER

So basically cruise through the ads until you find one you like and matches your requirements, modify it to fit your business, and there you have it!

Post your ad to hire people on job sites. These sites are searched by willing persons. You can also post your ad in your local news magazines but in my views job sites are much effective than magazines.

I have a friend that does B2B sales, he just one of those smooth talker sort of guys that could sell a red melted popsicle to a woman in a wedding dress, we have already talked, he is interested in working with me and just walking into businesses (what he currently does now for pennies compared to what I could pay him for his success), I would take extra good care of him.

Nice fat up front commission, small residual commission, OR smaller commission up front, larger residual.. which for him can add up over time, as well as build the business.

If you have the time: Make up some paper flyers and post them on university and college job boards (the kind you find by cafeterias and libraries.)

People who're hungry can surprise you with their ability to close, and they tend to be more open-minded.

Sometimes I think we get so caught up in our own jargon(offline affiliate), we forget...

Offline affilliate = Commission Only Sales Rep.
Offline affilliate = Independent Sales Rep.

Place an ad in you local newspaper, post flyers on bulletin boards in stores, post an ad in the 'jobs' sections of Craigslist & Backpage, etc.

You can normally find stock independent contractor/sales rep. agreement forms at places like Office Depot, Staples, etc..

Or how about you approach businesses who already have your client base and try and set up a referral system with them? Maybe an Internet Marketing firm in your area or something a long those lines. They already have the exactly customers you are going to be trying to target so why not use that?

Other than that, you could just post it like any other job. Like digchik said, all you are looking for are Commission Only Sales Reps. Keep in mind the tax implementations that come with doing this. I'm not a CPA, but I would talk to one if I were you.

    Hope that helps!

    I agree with Sean.

By leveraging the efforts of another business owners client base, we
work smarter and multiply our roi.

Craiglist works too with a snazzy headline.
