Hi all warrior,
i have read some nice thread here, and give me an idea to do my first campaign..

but i still doubtful about this offline method. is it good for long term business? coz now i am a college, and looking for extra cash.

so is the offline business model is a good way to become entrepreneur? what about the online one, such as cpa, adsense, affiliates, dll. compared with the offline one, which has more prospect?

When you start out with limited capital and knowledge, online is definitely the way to go. Offline clients are troublesome at times. They usually ask you more questions and you need money or time to acquire them.

With online methods, CPA, affiliate, adsense, etc., you can start out with little money. Warriors on this forum shared many of their methods for free. You can learn what they did, then work your tail off and you should get something. At the time you have enough money, you can try offline methods.

The offline business model can be expensive to start off with. If you're limited on funds, online would be the way to go. I'm assuming that you've never sold anything online before. If so, get your feet wet and start experimenting. Create a product for $7 and see if you can sell it by the end of this week. Costs quite a bit to get an offline campaign up and running, and successful. Start off online and see how it goes for you.

Yes, but i have some fund now, and my idea is build a business card that integrate with QR CODE. So when people scan the QR Code, they can add the contact from the business card into their mobile phone directly.

In the next, my idea is build a mobile site for them.

      What do you think?

This is a good start. Do you have a plan for how to build a mobile site? Will you outsource the job to someone else or do it yourself? What other services will you offer to them? How much will you charge?

That is completely not true. It doesn't cost anything to get going in offline marketing.

If you have a phone line or even Skype, you can start making money selling offline services.

Back to the OP - doesn't matter if it's online or offline, it all works. The difference between either way to make money is YOU. If you stick with one way and figure it out until it makes sense, rather then jumping from WSO to WSO or method to method, then of course, nothing will make you any cash.

Personally, offline marketing has been the best way for me to make money, but it's what I've known for the last 5 years. My online business is for fun and I enjoy making my online membership sites work, but there's plenty of gold out there with clients.

The real deal is that you can make money FASTER in the offline world.

If you want to make passive income, or income that can really turn into big money, get into IM. Product releases can be huge in IM, but the thing is, most fail. Even here on warrior forum, a lot of people who release a WSO, FAIL!

I like doing both... I would like to eventually move more towards IM instead of offline to allow for travel and more freedom!

offline can result;t in a real business - they are real people and clients cpa is fleeting because of many factors not least offers change and are finite -- so in that way offline is more long term

in many ways offline is the easiest and cheapest -- all you do is ask somone if they want what you have in they right way and they pay you for it -

alot of cpa sucess has come from offline promotion too - its up to you good luck

If you set your mind for offline business, you can do online business as part time. Your online and offline buisness will support each other in making money and yes to gain experience.

Ya I agree that the "faster" money is in offline for sure. Then you have to do the work that you just sold the customer on. Which isn't always so "fast". However, with that said you can easily make a good living with offline marketing if you put in some effort. Especially in today's world where more and more business owners are seeing that they need to have an online presence.

IM is great too tho and I would suggest what iAmNameLess said which is to do both. Why put all your eggs in one basket? Once you have some money to throw around why not try out some IM methods to see what works?

What I'm about to say might be unpopular, but I feel the need to say it anyway.

If you don't have much experience in business, you really shouldn't be offering your services as an offline consultant.

Small businesses in the real world can be broken by bad advice. It's not just the business that breaks, it's the people behind the business, the owners, the employees and their families.

Giving advice and offering services to businesses is a serious responsibility and not one to be taken lightly.

It's not a matter of where *you* can make more money. It's not about the money.

Generally speaking, I'd recommend starting online, learning as much about the various aspects of marketing as you can, putting ideas into practice in your own projects, and only then venturing into the offline world.

I very rarely see this kind of thoughtful post that takes the customer into account. This is very true. Small businesses can be seriously damaged by someone who doesn't know what they're doing blundering around with their money.

I'm doing both.... Affiliate Marketing and building a list as fast as i can. Getting in on giveaways left and right, got a solo ad, and keeping at it.

I am also doing QR code integrated mobile websites and coupons and pitching them to local businesses. I've made a couple mobile versions of existing websites, 1 for a spa, and the other for a restaurant, then called them and asked them to check it out, and if they want it, i'll sell it to them.

I've seen it all over the place: "Dont put all your eggs in one basket"....
