Linkedin Answers get me 3/4 potential clients a week

Are you using Linkedin to the max? Here's another way to use linkedin. Simply use your knowledge to answer 7-10 questions within the 'answers' section of linkedin. This has got me numerous connections and 3/4 possible new clients I'm speaking with in the last week alone. It really is quite simple and straight forward.

Really is easy for maybe 30-45 minutes of your time a day. There's even a section on internet marketing questions.

Not too shabby. Are all these potential clients local or are you branching out to all areas?

All over the world tbh. That's the nature of linkedin.

You gotta get motoring on it. It's a goldmine.

  • Thanks for the tip. I've been participating in groups but not in that section, makes it easy to talk to em if they are already asking questions about what you offer.

Starting out : premium vs basic, if I intend to "answer" some questions, can I do that with basic?

I am on the screen right now to choose, but it doesn't specify lol , will just go with the basic for now.

      Ryan,
No need for a premium account in my view. The premium allows you to inmail (send a pm) to people you aren't connected with) but as I've shown you can get round that by joining groups that your prospects are in. I guess premium may look better on your profile but I don't have a premium account and I've done just great from linkedin - I tried a premium account for a while but really made no difference to my business. I think you are better connecting via a group or answers myself.

I have been seriously neglecting Linkedin for far too long. This is great tip on how to really build your sales funnel without having to cold call.

Newbies who are scared of cold calling or face to face meetings would seriously benefit from trying this tactic out.

    Great share!

No bother Sean. What's great is that many people will pm you to thank you for answering their question. Then you can connect and chat. It takes away the rejection factor with cold calling that I personally hate!

    Hey Rich,

Thanks, I went basic, I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't "losing" out on anything. What you are saying makes complete sense.

I am getting all signed up now - now to just find some groups :-D

Sounds like the Yahoo Answers technique. I didn't know LinkedIn was very popular when it came to their Q&A section. Thanks for sharing.
