Selling Google Places Confirmation??

I've read a few places of people selling google places confirmation to businesses who havent confirmed their listing. How would you approach a business when theyre already listed but not confirmed.

I think selling the service of GP confirmation is dirty...just my opinion.

HINT: It does, however, present a great foot in the door if you offer the service for free! After all, it's no skin off your back to confirm a listing...it's far from brain surgery and the time cost is minimal.

It is a foot in the door, or better yet, just something you can tell them you will do when they get SEO services.

You could make them aware of Google Places they might not even know about it. You could offer to do it for free to give them value and then build on that relationship.

Linda, I have come to understand that the majority of the frequent writers on this forum are using mostly dirty techniques to pitch clients - cold calls, cold emails, cold mails.

They are also using spammy tools or tools that help them easily "grab" the information of many businesses so that they could spam them with calls and emails... Unfortunately, probably that's what "marketing" for most of the people around here is. Pretty sad.

      EHHH?

Your comments are offensive. You have clearly missed the whole point of the offline forum

Nobody is forcing you to be here, so why exactly would you hang around such a horrible place?
