Really cool upsell sign I saw on my honeymoon. Use for your offline clients.

Snapped this at Niagara Falls, CA (was part of 2500 mile road trip for our honeymoon). Will post other ideas I found later. It was posted outside the maid of the mist tour so the idea was if you liked this, hey we will give you a discount on the package we could have sold you to begin with. Brilliant upsell!

How much extra was the package if you ordered it in the first place?

Agreed, as a potential prospect myself, I'd be curious to know the "value" of such an upgrade vs. other options available to me to experience the same things...

It was the same price as if they bought in the first place minus the cost they already put out. I thought it was not at first then double checked my receipts and yup sure enough, nothing hidden. It was sort of a second chance to get it all and not lose anything.

I have no agenda but to help those in the same situation. This I feel will pay the bills.

This has always been used in marketing.

    Package A - 100$
    Package B - 200$

When someone buys package A, you throw a promotional upsell to them and tell them they can upgrade to package B for $50. It sorts of look like they're getting a big deal, 50% discount, which works great for upsells. In reality, you just sold package B at 25% discount.

I think it was actually a bit more than this. It was a second chance once the first service was bought and delivered. In other words you can buy service a, try it out and buy the rest minus the cost of service a.

Reminds me a bit of the airline seat upgrades they offer you when you check-in.
