Please, keep on spamming your offline clients with xrumer and scrapebox blasts

Wow, so I set up a wiki page about a year ago but havent touched it really at all. Turns out NOW it's got over 5000 pages of spam pages created, with about 3k backlinks created towards it.

I've just spent the past hour going through some of the randomly created pages (xrumer I assume?) and have been contacting Attorneys, floor repair services, even taxi companies asking them to kindly quit spamming my site.

Of course THEY'RE going to have no idea what i'm talking about, which means whomever IS doing their SEO is doing a poor job of it.

Guess what, I'm EXPLAINING how that type of practice can be harmful to their business and even get them blacklisted on google if they have too many poor quality links.

Guess what else, I don't do xrumer or scrapebox blasts and only use GOOD quality links.

Know what this means? I'm able to take your clients from you, often charge MORE than you were charging them, AND they get better results too.

So hey, whatever you're using to spam my wiki site with - keep it up and thanks for the clients!

Jeff

Seriously guys, keep it up - I'm loving the extra client leads i'm getting! LOL

Someone was spamming a blog I had with their clients google places listing, I left a nice review for them asking them to stop spamming my blogs, the owner was quite interested to learn what was going on.

It's sad how these so called "SEO experts" are profiting from ruining their client's reputation. I get so much junk on my site and I wonder if the people buying programs and hire "experts" that claim to get them 1000's of links actually realize how those links are acquired.

100% true. I've gotten my own sites banned before on puRpose to test this. Initial gain at first, then from page 1 to 20. A month later it was not indexed

This is interesting that you have gotten sites banned from too many spammy links. I too have run tests, and I have never even seen the mythical "sandbox".

I think your original post is spot on-- people shouldn't be getting spammy links for their clients because it could ruin their reputation. However, I'm not so sure that spammy links will ever get a site de-indexed.

The reason I say this is quite simple: if it was easy to get a site de-indexed because a bunch of spammy links were sent to it, then a business could just buy a bunch of spammy links to all their competitors sites to get them banned from Google. The competitor that gets banned wouldn't know what hit them.

I'm sure Google is well aware that things can work both ways. If they start not indexing because of bad links then people would start selling services to ban competitors sites. If they allow spammy links to boost rankings then people will continue to use them.

My guess (and it is just a guess) is that when Google identifies Spammy links it just doesn't count them as either good or bad. Spam links are neutral to avoid people taking advantage of them one way or another.

Let me first point out that I don't use any automated tools.

What you have said is not exactly true. I know at least 3 ways of using blasts to boost ranking without the site getting banned. Why don't I use it then? It has a low value and requires thousands of links which still require some sort of manual action. The time it takes you to setup the I.WIN. button can be used much better. Quality links simply give you more out of your time, they're long-term and they give you stable rankings.

I agree with your point, but not with your claim though.

I've been doing offline for approx. the past 2 yrs and the sad thing is these scammers are contacting my clients and telling them that they can guarantee a #1 ranking in Google within 30 days and so my clients think I'm trying to take advantage of them and lying to them.

It is sad that people believe a lie much easier than they will believe the truth.

Sad indeed. I never give a guaranteed time frame, ever. They usually appreciate this but sometimes they would rather believe a lie unfortunately.

      Here's one that's live now

IPhone 5 Cases | The Best iPhone 5 Cases available, period.

Used to be #1 in google - a few weeks after I did an xrumer blast, it was on page 8 - then page 20 - now it's nowhere in the top 20 pages. Maybe it's on page 50 or something, and it's technically NOT de-indexed. But it's nowhere useful to me now, so it might as well be.

I was on page 1 for 'iphone 5 cases' up until a 4 months ago. I then realized that I should do more to KEEP it there, being a competitive niche.

I then ordered a xrumer blast of 10k or 20k links (i think) from BHW and it disappeared shortly there-after.

I'm all for software, i'm a big fan of seNuke X and Evo 2 Pro - but using xrumer and scrapebox, ESPECIALLY on your clients sites is just asking for trouble. I've NEVER gotten penalized from using senuke x or evo 2, but xrumer left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

I use Senuke X like crazy on my own sites and i love it. WitH CLIENTS sites though I'll be more careful and use unique content i'll have outsourcers write for me. I'll spin it a BIT to make it more unique across the posts and get more use out of it.

I know SEO quite well, don't get me wrong, but I got lazy and tried to take a short-cut. It cost me. I could have sold the site In May for 5k-10k, but I wanted to KEEP it as I figured I could make 5k a month easily once the iphone 5 launched. Of course, the iphone 5 now wont be around until 2012 most likely, so I might try to get it re-ranked. I put so much work into this site to get it penalized though, i'm a bit discouraged now on this one - lol.

With regards to sites I HAVE gotten ranked safely, i'm not that stupid - I'd rather keep my niches AND my clients to myself. If you want an example of sites ranked #1 with good seo, turn to google and type in your favorite keyword - lol.

      Jeff

P.S. This person contacted me in August when I was ranked #1
He wanted to hire me for SEO for his own sites.

Here's another from May, I was #1 then too and the iphone 5 announcement was SUPPOSED to be a few months out:

      Any more proof necessary? :-)

Now that even more confusing. On one hand, the emails look like legit proof, but it's fishy that being #1 for the keyword and getting offers, you didn't accept the offers and you also decided to blast the hell out of the website with spam. Why? I mean haven't you ever heard of a bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush?

The person that had #1 for "iphone 4 cases" 1 1/2 years ago was making 20k a MONTH in commissions. That was my inspiration for building this site in the first place. Why take 5-10k when I could get (up to) 20k a month.

What's so fishy about it? I bought the site to sell iphone cases, not to sell the site itself. I make good money already, 5k isn't a whole lot - especially when the site HAD that much potential.

Really, if you had a site that was going to make you up to 20k a month in a few months, would you sell it to ME now for 5k or even 10k? Personally, I'd think you were stupid if you did...

Obviously, my site got de-indexed and that's no longer going to be the case for me, but at that point - I would not have even accepted $20k for it.

Edit: Why would I be making any of this up? What would it benefit me? It's well known that people sites can be penalized by google or even de-indexed. I'm not trying to sell you on anything, my whole point is - take CARE of your clients and don't use crappy spam tactics like xrumer or scrapebox on them. If you want to continue to use xrumer and scrapebox, just know i'm going to steal your clients if comments end up on my blogs - and just know that the links I use are of much better quality and I'm going to bring them results much quicker. :-)

As for links, I use senuke x (with unique content), and I have a few people in the Philippines that I have do a-lot of manual backlinking for me on relevant blogs and sites.

You've now mentioned several times that your 'test' site got de-indexed to prove your point. Actually, your website is not de-indexed at all.

I am quite surprised that you've come here telling us about SEO, but you don't seem to know the difference between 'not ranking' and 'not indexed'. The spammy links did not get your site de-indexed, as you would have people believe.

I would seriously go and get every competing site I can see de-indexed if all it took is a blast. Not going to happen. Generally, you might drop as your rank is adjusted - but getting de-indexed is not the norm.

Definitely, sites do get de-indexed but sending a blast to a site is definitely not a sure fire way of doing this.

Sorry, I (honestly) use the phrase de-indexed very loosly. If I cant find my site in the top 10 pages, it's useless to me and i just refer to it as de-indexed. I know it's online if you do a search for the site name, but searching for my main keyword brings no results. I should learn to watch how I word things - thanks

P.S. The site I got de-indexed on purpose (it really was) was perfectshedplans.com: The Leading Perfect Shed Plan Site on the Net - I was on page 3 for 'shed plans' but not getting any traffic, so I did a 50k link blast from scrapebox. I did NOT renew this site, which is why it's no longer in commission now.

Umm, dude, the reason your site is not ranked has nothing to do with Xrumer or spammy backlinks. I could be the fact that there are no good backlinks to make it rank, but I suspect the fact that you have spam links ON the site is the reason Google hates the site.

Open up the source code on that site and what do you see on the first 20 lines??

Good SEO would never expect a site with those types of links hidden in the source code to rank.

        Just sayin'...

A couple of my own niche sites have been "sandboxed" (not de-indexed by Google but irrecoverably unranked).

I recommend Link Wheeling with the "spammy" links landing on the 2.0 Profile pages.
You never want to direct link your corporate clients in comments - for reasons exactly as explained by the OP of this post.

Yeah I see it too. Checked several pages and saw it on all of them.

It is showing up before the <html> tag, so I'm not sure if a browser would even read that or if they would get any credit for a link that way. Which if that is the case, they are very dumb smart hackers.

Scrapebox can be useful but it is just how you use it. It is not best to spam links to the main site for your clients but if you create some decent article and content with SEnukex then mass comment to them for one you are protecting your client seeing as there website would not be directly in that URL and two it will benefit you well.

Now, people talking about doing thousands of these comments and get de indexed is strange to me because I have a test site I do them for mainly out of interest and to find do-follow blogs. My test site is now ranking first page of google for a keyword that gets 2.1 Million searches a month. These are exact searches and the broad searches are 25Million.
