Question about the lawyer/attorney niche

So we all know that this niche is very profitable/competitive. But what about it's sub niches?

People are very rarely actually looking for a lawyer in general. Usually they are searching for something more specific. For example:

Immigration Lawyer
Divorce Lawyer
DUI Lawyer
etc.

how many different niches can you name and which are the most valuable and competitive?
#lawyer or attorney #niche #question

Divorce, Defense, Criminal Defense, personal injury... Thats about it. Immigration law isn't that searched for in many areas. I'm not going to do the work for you, you can easily find niches if you spent a little time in google. Work for medical malpractice attorneys can be huge, especially if you're getting them leads on cases. A friend of mine has a payday of $795,000 for his cut in finding this case for a lawfirm.

I'd say lawyers can be a difficult nut to crack but the rewards can be great. I have done well on linkedin in this field.
Iamnameless - So I presume your friend took a percentage of any business he brought the lawyer? If so nice.

He actually joint ventured with a pretty big law firm locally. They took on cases world wide, so he was really cranking up the SEO. Right before he was about to walk away and give up on it, they landed this client. It took a while for him to get paid, but it was worth it. I wish I would have done something like that.

Yeah, I would take a 795,000 payday lol

My step-mom works for a real estate type lawyer in Vegas, she knows about my off-line business, and has helped answer some of the legal questions around building the business.

Their facebook page is horrible, their on-page is horrible, and they will never be found on google for their keyword term. I just don't like the thought of "hitting up your family" it brings back those mlm days. As much as I want to be like "hey your bosses online presence sucks!" I know the fb is important to them, because she has it in her signature line, I may just offer to her to build their practice a free fb fan page, and fix it for them now that I think about it..

    hmm..

Just get them leads dude that's what they want. Not a new facebook page.

People aren't hanging out on facebook then seeing a facebook page and being like "oh yeah I should sue someone".

Lawyers clients have massive problems, like they got screwed in a contract, they need help with immigration, criminal charges etc. When you got a massive problem you need to solve fast you go to Google to research, that's the best place to capture them.

I would genuinely love to hear about how facebook (or other social media) is securing high paying clients for lawyers, I just can't imagine how that's possible, unless the lawyer is going to actively begin regular, quality content creation. I've found most just want a plug and play solution.

Pretty decent list of different types Different Types Of Lawyers.

P.S. iAmNameLess that is freaking insane lol. But totally possible for anyone willing to get out there. Big firms have big money to spend. I love the lawyer niche because they all understand the value of time and business.

Yeah, getting the leads would be the goal. The free page, is my foot in the door :-D , I just know they have one and update it and crap. So I tell her "let me just do you guys a free page" in order to get on their radar, once they check out my website, and we can have more conversations, we will get there!

I don't want to approach the step mother directly with "hey let me do your SEO" , instead just give them something for free.. then work on the rest.
