Alright, i am a long time lurker here on WF and i have decided to start posting. Hey maybe ill help someone, motivate someone or give someone an idea who knows. I am 19 years old i have a 9-5 job that i HATE but cannot quit because family needs my support moneywise.

I have had very little sucess in online. To be honest i gave up before i failed due to scared to lose money or negative thinking. As of recently decided that i HAVE to figure out a way to make money i have been reading all over the place and got a few WSO and i have came to the conclusion that offline marketing would be best for me.

So im looking to start out on the offline marketing. Right now i am living in Brasil.Over here 1 out of 50 businesses ect. have websites. (Although i have seen alot of them with facebook pages recently) Facebook is starting to be very popular over here now (before it was Orkut).

My plan is to go out cold walk into businesses and try to explain/offer them
-Website
-Facebook
-Online Marketing w/ FB and on there Website
-SEO
-Google Places
And how it would really help there business

Only problem is i am not sure what to say lol i looked a few scripts but couldnt get something good out of it. I know what i am selling and i am 100% positive it would give them a boost in sales due to my research on google adwords.

Ex. There is around 10 hotels in my city
5 have websites and 5 dont.
around 360 searches per month on "hotels in (city)

Also prices i have no idea what to ask for lol. I was thinking $250 for website+FB and 50$/month??

What do you guys think?

I am doing this for myself so i can see my progress and hopefully get some ideas and motives from the fellow warriors! I am open to all suggestions/ideas/critics! Thanks everyone!

    A pricing strategy is the important one to work on now. Call some companies that are doing web design and tell them you will be starting a business and need a price on a simple 5 page web site.

    There may be company names on the bottom of those 5 hotel web sites. Call them.

    You probably will not be able to get a "walk in" appointment with a hotel unless you're lucky. Since you're working, it would be better to call and try to make an appointment for off hours.

    When you call, ask for the person who does the advertising or marketing for the hotel. If they're not in or not available, ask when would be a better time to call back.

    You're 9 years old! I must have read that wrong Burn the boats and don't look back. The fact is that those hotels need a dang website... You just have to show them what they are missing out on by not having one (revenue, ad budget, competition) and show them how you can fix their problem. It would be irresponsible for you to not help them... good luck!

      Otherwise, we might be dealing with an over-achiever....!

    Re: Note to self - Indeed failure is not an option. Good self note! Keep your eyes on the prize... I could sell a 300 per month product and hit my goal in 90 days, or I could throw a few $1,000 per month products in and hit it from a different angle... If you keep your eyes fixed on the objective itself, and not so much on the effort being expended to get there...you will find there is always a way to your goal.

    Maybe you meant to type 19! 9 year old's don't have a paypal to buy WSO's! But hell, I wish I had the chance to start that early. Failure is not an option, I like that!

    Haha sorry guys i fixed it! im 19 years old!!

    Also another thing i wanted to clear up. When i said i was going to cold walk in there, i meant to say that i was gonna go in tell them what i do and tell them i have a presentation setup if there anyway we can set an appointment up so i can show them the benefits and how much money there missing out on.

    Only thing holding me back is the fact that i might not be listened to because of my age. So i wanted to set up something professional to present to them and get there attention . I want them to be like " Oh sh*t this kid isnt playing games. "
    Any help on that? haha

      Your age shouldnt matter, keep your pitch professional and have some info to back up what you are saying, also make sure you have your price plan in place and stay positive they wont all say yes but if you keep going you will get there

          Yeah , i just finished translating the contract and have most paper work done. Gonna do a "price plan packages" of some sort this weekend and hopefully monday ill start hitting up some local business

          Thanks , and yeah i have a pretty good idea. Like i mentioned before there a really famos hotel over here that dousnt have a website lol i know theyd benefit with one the hard part is just convincing them.
