Facebook Page experts and strategists, need help

I will try and make this as least confusing as possible. I am new to offering clients FB pages.

Said so many times before, clients don't care about websites (facebook pages) they care about leads (customers).

I understand incentivizing the "like" button on a clients FB page, so they pick up another like as well as get a potential customer. "Click like and get a free foot rub"

The public visitor now gets sent to the "fan" content page and they get their free foot rub.

Next time the same visitor visits the clients FB page they are defaulted to the wall (as I understand it). I messed with accounts to figure out what happens.

A public visitor defaults to the clients customized public FB page, after a like, they move to the "fan" content page, after that subsequent visits they keep landing on the FB wall of the page.

Is there a way to default fans to a 3rd page or back to the public page or 2nd page/fan page?

I figure it would be tough to get them to opt in via aweber and hit like ALL on the public FB page, but I can't figure out how to have them land on a customized page after they are fans and have already viewed the 2nd page/the fan page. Is there a way to do this?

Or if not, is there a strategy I am missing here where I can get a visitor to "like" and get their email address for follow-ups?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Keep It simple: First page for non -fans- You give the headline that you will get a free rub or massage after clicking Like button..

after the person becomes fan- give him the discount coupon + say wanna get a few tips or something like that and insert your aweber code/contact form below the discount coupon. ..
Create a new tab- deals of the day or something like that and change the coding/html code every week..
Always insert the contact form on every deal..
You can also create a website inside facebook just like I did
    Code:
     http://www.facebook.com/instant.traffics?sk=app_291671697528664

      sanjon,

      Thanks.

My question is, how do you get facebook to default to that "fan" page or "discount" page everytime they visit? It seems they go right to the wall after they make a return visit.

Would it require me to post status updates with the link to the lets say "discount page"?

After adding custom iframe page, go to edit page - manage permissions and then there will be an option to set the default landing page to your custom page(currently wall)

Thanks Gabby, got that. What I am wondering is, after the page is liked, they go to the fan content page, which is fine also. But then, after they leave and come back (by hitting a link on their newsfeed or something, the fan ends up on the wall, no longer on either custom fan page.

How can I get fans to land somewhere else or do I have to link it when I post a status?

            Hi,

You can't force the other pages to show up as the entry page for your fans. However, how about making some "graphic ads" for the other pages you want them to visit, and put those among the five images that show up at the top of the facebook page?

You have to engineer it so that the important message of the ad actually shows at the top of the facebook page. It might take a little trial and error. I think you can put up to a 720x720 pixel image, but only a part of it will show up until they click the image.

Put arrows and instructions on the full size image about what you want them to do, and you can also put a link in your description of the image to the page you want them to go to.

            I hope that made sense.
